Danielle Bélanger-Corbin
Danielle is a decorated Army Logistics Officer who retired in 2000 after a rewarding career where she played key leadership roles in the evolving business of logistics and supply within the department of National Defence, in support of its military operations at home and abroad. Upon her retirement, she and her husband – Dr. Jean Corbin – moved their family to our area and have never looked back. A firm believer that one should never stop learning, Danielle completed her Law degree (Juris Doctor) in 2022 at uOttawa’s French Common Law Program and her articles as a judicial law clerk at the Federal Court. She was called to the Bar in 2023.
Danielle brings a unique approach to law, one that has been forged by a professional career that spans over 35 years. However, she feels that it is through her volunteer work and community engagement with organizations such as Temiskaming Victim Services, the North on Tap Craft Beer Festival, the Festival des Folies FrancoFun as well as her experience in more structured not-for-profit governance, as past Chair of the Board of the North East Local Health Integration Network and Governor of NOSM University, that have helped her become a better lawyer…and a better person.

Piper
Nixon, CMO-in-training
This very good boy is learning from Piper and takes his CMO-in-training role very seriously. He guarantees free kisses with every visit. Nixon was adopted from the Northern Animal Rescue and Sanctuary in Temiskaming Shores. If you are thinking of adding a pet to your home, please consider adopting from this not-for-profit rescue. They will also gladly accept your charitable donations. If animals are near and dear to your heart, why not consider gifting proceeds from your Estate when you draft your Will.
